Graphical Engineering

 

 Specific descriptors of qualifications that determine learning outcomes for graphical engineering study program in accordance with the Regulation of the national framework for higher education qualifications

 1. Knowledge and understanding 

  • Shows depth knowledge and understanding the laws of the areas ofthe graphical engineering,which student has chosen to develop special expertise, such as graphic design, preparation for printing, rasterization, CTP based workflows, technologies of printing, finishing graphic process, special procedures of printing, graphic management processes, control quality, quality management. 

  • Systematic and creatively explains and discusses current and developmentresearch, concepts, principles and theories relating to the chosen field of specialization of graphic engineering. 

  • Go in step with the latestachievements in selected areas of the graphical engineering, which provides a basis for originality in developing andapplying autonomous ideas in a research context. 

 2. Applying knowledge and understanding 

  • Examine, analyze, develop, optimize and manage the process of developing various systems in the field of graphical engineering anddesign, characteristic for various industries, with special focus on the latest developments in these areas, in part that the student has chosen to develop special investigations. 

  • Independent and creatively offer solutions to specific problemsoriginality and consistent applying of interdisciplinary andmultidisciplinary approach. 

  • Implementation of innovative methods in solving unknown or incompletelydefined problems using advanced mathematical, scientific, IT and engineering expertise. 

 

 3. Making judgments 

  • Synthesize and integrate knowledge in the areas of graphical engineering connected to the area that the student has chosen to develop special expertise:modern trends in graphic design, modern technologies of printing,non-impact printing techniques, 3D printing, new approaches to graphicmaterials, with special emphasis on the implementation of standardsrelatedtographic processes. 

  • Critically evaluate data, adopt proper assessment, even on the basis of incomplete or limited information, using current achievements in the field of graphic engineering. 

  • Explores applying of new technologies, innovations and positiveexperience in graphic engineering. 

 4. Communication skills 

  • Clearly and unambiguously present conclusions, facts and results from the researchesin front of professional audiences, and shows ability to adoptstyle and form of expression in front of unskilled audiences. 

  • Effectively participate in multidisciplinary teams, as team leader or expert. 

  • Undertakes an important responsibility for both individual and collective 

results, initiate and lead activities in the field of graphic engineering in which improved.

 

 5. Learning skills 

  • Identify personal needs for further education and independently act for new knowledge and skills in the widersocial context. 

  • Ability to take responsibility for continuous learning in the field of graphic engineering in whichstudent has chosen to develop special expertise.
