PhD study program in

Graphical Engineering and Design

Qualifications and competencies of graduated PhD students

 

Doctor of Science, using the acquired scientific research knowledge, as well as applied knowledge and skills, with respect of the code of ethics, based on the critical and self-critical thinking and approach, using domestic and international standards in graphical engineering and design, scientific methods of calculation, projecting and construction, modern engineering tools as well as domestic and foreign literature is capable of independently solving theoretical and practical problems in the above mentioned scientific fields of graphical engineering and design.

  • Thoroughly know and understand the discipline of his profession; 

  • Possesses knowledge to solve theoretical and practical problems using scientific methods and procedures; 

  • Is competent to connect basic knowledge from different fields and their application; 

  • Familiar with the practical elements of graphic engineering; 

  • Is competent to follow the modern scientific achievements in the closer scientific area; 

  • Can be involved in the realization of national and international research projects; 

  • Is competent to organize and realize scientific research; 

  • Is competent to communicate on a professional level in the publication of scientific research results; 

  • Is competent to communicate results on scientific conferences, published in scientific journals, through patents and new technical solutions; 

  • Is competent to use modern information and communication technologies, scientific and technical literature for further knowledge of scintific field; 

  • Is competent for applying domestic and international standards in graphical engineering and design.
